For close to 25 years, I’ve enjoyed the privilege of helping individuals, couples and families overcome challenges, and find the path to happier and more productive lives.  My experience, gained through the positions noted below, has shaped my approach to therapy, and strengthened my commitment to treating each client with respect, empathy and sensitivity.

Clinical practice treating individuals, couples and families.

Partners in Recovery - Recovery Care Management
Principle in specialized practice offering a 12-month program designed to help individuals implement and follow their recovery program. 

2001 – 2006
Caron Treatment Center - Addictions Treatment Center
Developed and maintained professional resources for the center, and created an extensive network of outpatient professionals for those in need of specialized treatment.  Worked with patients and their families through the intake process, and provided crisis and case management. Clinical services for the center as needed.

1998 – 2000
Kintock Group
Counseling Services for Inmates Returning to Civilian Life
Served as a Clinical Consultant for individuals with substance abuse issues, provided clinical supervision of staff members, and assisted in obtaining state and federal licensing for the Kintock treatment program.

Belmont Center for Comprehensive Treatment -
Adult and Adolescent Addictions and Crisis Intervention
As a staff Psychotherapist, worked with individuals, groups and families in the adult and adolescent addictions program in inpatient, outpatient and partial hospital settings. Conducted crisis intervention sessions, evaluated and supervised staff, and managed community outreach programs.

Family Therapy Resource Associates – Private Practice
Served as a Private Consultant, treating individuals, groups and families.  Developed and provided educational and staff development programs for professional and community organizations.  Evaluated, consulted with and served as a liaison between clients, schools, courts and professionals.
